Mythology or Science

I was Reading The Newspaper today and came across an Interesting News. The 106th Indian Science Congress is in session now. A group of speakers spoke about some ancient stories of India that into some very advanced Scientific Prowess Of the Country. With anger brewing, K Vijay Raghavan, government’s principal scientific adviser, pointed finger at a larger problem. “The gorillas that really deserve to be in the #pseudoscience bin are huge, numerous and freely roaming the landscape,”

This Got Me thinking, do Our Ancient Texts mean nothing. Was it all just Imaginary or was there some truth to it.

These were some Very famous Supposedly advanced Technologies in the Ancient Indian Civilization I would Like to discuss with You.

  • Ram’s Never Ending Arrows.

We all know that Ram is the most Well Known Deity in India. Hence, it's no shock He had Awesome Weapons. It is Written In the Ramayana that Ram possessed Never Ending Arrows. He could supposedly fire Thousands of Arrows and Still would not Run out.

Alright, I agree it sounds like a stretch. However, if we look close, we can Find similar Weapons Today. The Machine Gun a Constant Firing Machine is Quite similar to the Never Ending Arrows. This, however, was invented during the American Civil War.

Way Later than Ram.

  • Ravan’s Airplane
A Blueprint Of Flying Chariot (vimanas) From Ancient Indian Texts

The Most well-known Mythical Character After Ram in India is Hands Down Ravan. He is the All Bad as we identify him. But he was quite a Scientifically advanced ruler. Ravan had a divine chariot that could fly called Pushpaka Vimana. We all know the Story how he forcibly abducted Sita across the Ocean to Lanka (modern Sri Lanka) all the way from Panchavati (modern Nasik Maharashtra). So what was the Chariot actually?

This is the easiest to Guess of them all. It was an airplane. By all means, I recall the Wright Brothers Invented the Aeroplane in 1903. But we can all agree that the complex concept the idea and maybe even, Technology was present in Ancient India.

  • Sabdabhedi Arrows.
The fascinating story about Dhasharat Killing Shravan Kumar is remarkably Famous. It invariably led to the Events of the Ramayana. But what we generally overlook is how he assassinated him. Dhasharat was a much-acclaimed archer with exceptional knowledge and considerable skill in archery. He intentionally used a Sabdabhedi Arrow to shoot the ominous sound of a Deer drinking water in a nearby ravine. Only it was Shravan filling water, not a Deer that was Hit.

So what is similar to this prevalent today you ask? It’s simple the ‘Tracking Missiles’. These missiles use either heat or sound (like Sabdabhedi) to pinpoint the intended target. So did Dhasharat have his Technology so many years ago? For all one knows we can merely speculate.

Modern Live News Reporting

"And bringing to you LIVE from the field" is universal expression heard today on the TV. But years ago this social trend was talked about in the Great Book of Mahabharata. Sanjay the Charioteer of King Dhritarashtra is Given a precious boon to be able to witness the destructive Kurukshetra war as it is inevitably happening. He subsequently is employed by Dhritarashtra to Narrate the War to him and anxious Queen Gandhari LIVE.

So it is possible we had the Internet, Live Streaming Long ago YouTube came into the game.

  • 100 Kaurava Brothers Birth.

Modern Incubator

Mahabharata also talks about the Peculiar Birth of the 100 Kaurava brothers at the same time. There is a description of How the baby is taken from Queen Gandhari's womb and Placed in an Urn and then 100 Children are born from it.

This sounds awfully similar to the Test-tube baby process and the Incubator process. Though the description is vague, the similarities are uncanny. I think the Concept of the incubator were long Known to the Ancient Indians before the West Invented it.

  • Ram Setu.

Modern Rameshwaram Bridge

This is a frequent topic for Raging Debate going on for Years amongst the Different Scientific Societies. The Ram Setu as we all popularly know is the historic bridge painstakingly built across the Indian Ocean by the Monkey Army of Ram From Rameshwaram TO Sri Lanka. It is also Known as Adam's Bridge. The historical authenticity of this Bridge was by all accounts Questioned for Years until finally in 2014 NASA released Pictures of the Bridge still being present under raging water. In 2017 a critical report from the Archaeological Survey of India finally reported that this was a Man Made Structure.

It was only in 1914 when the Modern Bridge from Rameshwaram to Sri Lanka was Built. Thousands of years after Ram and his band of Monkeys built the Ram Setu.

So did the ancient Indians Posses such great engineering Skills to construct such an iconic bridge across a mighty ocean? If yes, Then How?

  • Brahmastra.

Hiroshima Nagasaki Bombing
(Photo: Google pics)

The Nuclear Bomb is said to be the most devastating weapon ever made by man. The two very devastating explosions in Hiroshima and Nagasaki left 90000 — 146000 and 39000 — 80000 dead respectively. This was the largest death toll by any weapon.

However, if we read the Ancient Indian Texts we will encounter that such Destruction Happened before. In the Ancient Indian Texts, we can find many weapons of similar or vaster destruction. The most devastating is the Brahmastra. It is a divine weapon with the power of 1,000 suns and is able to annihilate anything in its path. This was used many times in Both the Ramayana and horrific Mahabharata battles. Modern scientists have miraculously found radioactive evidence of such a nuclear detonation in minor parts of Rajasthan in the Ancient cities of Harappa and Mohenjo-Daro and even in parts of Sri Lanka. Therefore, we can speculate about the existence of such a weapon in Ancient India.

  • Lord Ganesh’s New Head.

The conceptual Head Transplant Idea
(Photo: Google pics)

Lord Ganesh is one of the Most if not the most Beloved Indian Deity. He is a Strange Idol but fondly loved by all. His magnificent Elephant head makes him Unmistakable. So how did he get such a strange head? The story is bizarre as is the method.

Ganesh was asked to Guard the gate of his mother Lady Parvati's Bathing Quarters while she took a bath. When Lord Shiva came to visit her Ganesh obstructed his way and adamantly denied him entry. This enraged the normally calm Shiva and resulted in him bitterly attacking Ganesh. After a long hard Battle Lord Shiva finally cut off Ganesh’s Head with his Trishul thus Killing him. On hearing, the commotion Lady Parvati came out to witness her beloved son's terrible death. This enraged her, and she vowed revenge on the Universe if Ganesh was not brought back to life.

Having destroyed his original head Lord Shiva asked his followers to delve into the world. He instructed them to secure a head of a child whose Mother is sleeping with her back on him. The followers returned with an elephant head having exclusively found only a baby elephant fitting the description.

Lord Shiva then Placed The Elephant head on Ganesh and brought him back to life albeit with an Elephant head.

So this sounds to me like a modern Transplant. In 2016 an elite group of leading scientists planned to carry out the Head Transplant. I don't know the published result but ancient India beat everyone to the Game.

I know many you will be cynical to my observations. It's okay everyone is Free to Interpret these events as they wish. But no one can deny Ancient India was talking, writing and Maybe experimenting with technology and subjects millennium ahead of everyone else.

So that's all for today. If you liked my Take on this please Comment your thoughts on these below and Share. #Letmeknow

Love You all,

Adieu.
